Festival on the Rogue is a river, community, and watershed event usually held on the second Saturday in June at Upper Rogue Regional Park in Shady Cove, Oregon. It is a fun, family-friendly gathering focused on the natural wonders, recreational opportunities and pride of place found in the Upper Rogue watershed, and ways to pass them forward. Parking, admission, and same-day raft trips that can be won in raffles are free. Festival income beyond expenses goes toward restoration projects that will help pass forward the things the event celebrates. We are heading back out to the riverbank this year after Covid-19 and then wildfire smoke forced temporary retreats to on-line events. Our 2023 festival will be outdoors at the park on Sunday, June 4 from 11 am to 5 pm. Scheduling conflicts have prevented us from holding the festival on the second Saturday in June this year.
